How it works
We have a high speed internet connection with bandwidth to share. By using Radio Frequency we can share this bandwidth with the neighbourhood in the coverage area.

Q: Do I need a Telkom line?
A: No, You do not need a Telkom line.
Q: Do I get a fixed IP address?
A: No, You get a private IP address.
Q: Will I be able to host my own servers?
A: No, You will not be able to host your own servers.
Q: Will I be behind a firewall?
A: Yes, you are behind a firewall and proxy server.
Q: Do I need a password to get through the proxy server?
A: Yes, you will use the username and password with which you signed up.
Q: Will other computers on the internet be able to see my computer?
A: No, Your computer will be on a private network.
Q: Will I still be able to get my email?
A: Yes, we only provide the connection to the internet.
Q: Is there cap on the amount of traffic per month?
A: No.
Q: Is there a limit to the bandwidth that I may use?
A: The bandwidth is shared to the neighbourhood. You may use whatever bandwidth is available at any given time.
Q: What equipment do I need?
A: Standard off the shelf IEEE 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi or wireless modems that use the 2.4GHz frequency.
Q: What antenna do I need?
A: Any Standard off the shelf (VP) antenna compatible with your IEEE 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi or wireless modem.
Q: Where do I buy these equipment?
A: Any computer shop should be able to help you. If you really can not find a place to buy the equipment, then send us an email and we will direct you to a shop close to you.
Q: Would you be able to install my equipment?
A: Yes, We are able to install the client side equipment on your premises and it will cost you R1,500.00. This fee includes the equipment. Our technician will bring the equipment and ensures that it works properly.
Q: How do I pay for this service?
A: This is a pre-paid service so you pay in advance by Electronic funds transfer or deposit directly into our bank account with your account number as reference. Without the reference we will not know that the money came from you.
Q: How much does this service cost?
A: R200 per calendar month or part there of.
Q: Do I have to pay monthly or can I pay for a longer term?
A: You may pay for a longer term.
Q: Is there any discount if I pay for a longer term?
A: No, this is a prepaid service.
Q: Can I cancel my subscription?
A: You may cancel after the first year, please send us an email.
Q: Will I be refunded when I cancel my subscription?
A: If you have paid for a longer period and have more than one full month in credit and want a refund, please send us an email.
Q: May I refer this service to other members of my neighborhood?
A: Yes. They must enter your reference number on the contact form.
Q: Will I get some reward for my referral?
A: Yes. We will credit your account with a once off R20 for each referral that becomes a subscriber.
Q: Do you do credit checks?
A: No, This is a pre-paid service and therefore no need for credit checks.
